Véronique Van den Abeele was born in Brussel (Belgium) on 15th August 1977. She lived a happy childhood and adolescence characterized by lots of foreign exchanges. She graduated from the International School for Interpreters at the University of Mons–Hainaut in Belgium. After working as a translator in a large banking institution‚ she decided to turn to her real passion : children. As a freelancer‚ she created a network to teach foreign languages to young learners through games‚ songs‚ plays and stories… And she then discovered another passion : writing for children. Her grandma suffered and died from Alzheimer disease. This led her to write her first book : "My Grandma Alzha…what ?" Other book projects are underway.
