Biography
Born in Antwerp (Belgium)‚ Jacques Sternberg (1923–2006) settles rapidly in Paris (France). He is the author of several novels as well as countless short stories that touch from near and far on science fiction and fantasy. A genre where he is considered as an undisputed master. He is also the author of over 1000 chronicles sowed throughout the press‚ as well as the scenario of the film by Alain Resnais « Je t’aime‚ je t’aime… » Amongst his novels‚ we retain « L’Employé » (Minuit‚ Grand Prix de l’humour noir Xavier Forneret)‚ « Le Shlemihl » (Julliard)‚ « Toi‚ ma nuit » (Gallimard). He is also the author of « 188 contes à régler » illustrated by Roland Topor.
