Eva Kavian was born in 1964 in Belgium. She directs writing workshops since 1985. After a professional training in psychoanalysis and in directing Writing Workshops in Paris at Elisabeth Bing‚ and after working for several years in a psychiatric hospital‚ Kavian founded the Aganippe Association (for literary creation workshops). She is the author of adult novels‚ namely "Le rôle de Bart" which earned the "Prix Marcel Thiry" in 2006. She also writes short stories for which she received two times the "La Fureur de Lire" award‚ and which have been read on the Belgian public radio. Kavian is also a poet. She lives in Belgium where she dedicates herself to writing.
