Béatrice Renard was born in Liège (Belgium) in 1962. She lives along a river called La Meuse and imagines stories while looking at the barges‚ the cyclists and the walkers.
As a historian she studied at the University of Liège. She has always had a passion for history and for all kind of stories. Books have always been her friends. She reads lots and tells stories to her four children and her students. She is also a writer and hopes to write until she dies.
