Biography
Armel Job was born in 1948 in Heyd (Belgium). He earned a degree in classical philology‚ and taught for a period of 23 years in a high school in the Ardennes (Begium). He later became director of the institute where he taught and then started his writing career. Job published his first novels in the early nineties‚ and in a period of ten years‚ he received nine literary awards‚ notably the "Prix Rossel des jeunes" and the "Prix des Lycéens"‚ two prestigious awards for young people literature‚ for "Helena Vannek" in 2003‚ and the "Prix du Jury Giono" for "Les fausses innocences" in 2005.
