Pierre was 13 years old when the war started; until then he had no idea he was Jewish. In order to hide from the Germans‚ he has to escape to the countryside. There‚ he meets Jacques‚ and they pass great times together‚ until the day his best friend reveals his name to the occupiers. So Pierre has to run away again‚ this time to Paris‚ where he is protected by a strange gipsy violinist. He then meets Rebecca: it is love‚ then agony! Will love overpower hate?
