Virginie Vertonghen was born in 1976 in Belgium. She started studying the art in 1993 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Namur and from 1996 till 2000 at the Saint–Luc Institute in Liège (Belgium). She works for children’s press (Averbode publications‚ Belgium). «How about the ox ?» is her third children’s book at Mijade publications.
