Valérie D’heur was born in Bruxelles in 1969 where she studied graphic art. Little by little she left her work in the advertising to devote herself to her dream : to write and to illustrate clildren’s books. In the quiet environment of the countryside‚ under her son’s eye she finds the inspiration that allows her to talk about the obvious –and however so mysterious !– things of the life. What she prefers is to draw animals ans give them a nature that arouse emotion. Her books are published by Clavis Uitgeverij and Mijade Publications. They are translated in several languages.
