Pedro Penizzotto was born on the 4th of January 1962 in Buenos Aires‚ Argentina. In 1979 he begins as a draughtsman in the satirical magazine « Humor ». He continues to publish his drawings in several humoristic magazines in his country. From 1998 he begins to work as author and illustrator for children and publishes his drawings in different weekly magazines for children in Argentina as well as other countries. His series « Z.X.Wilbur » published at Dauphin (Averbode) in Belgium has appeared in different foreign magazines (Greece‚ France‚ Singapour). His books are published in several publishing companies: Franklin Watts‚ Santillana Educación‚ Erko‚ Editorial Guadal‚ Grimm Press.
