Dominique Blaizot (writer) was born in Saint–Brieux (Brittany) in France in 1954. Dominique started writing stories for his daughter Marie who wanted «made up» stories rather than stories read out of books. He works at the City of Sciences in La Villetta in Paris‚ where he lives. After publishing popular scientific works and setting up a web site‚ he is now responsible for establishing an intranet. Dominique says that poetry as well as extraordinary imagery can be found in science. Editions Fayard (France) has published one of his novels. He also paints.
