Chantal van den Heuvel studied journalism at the University of Bruxelles where she received a master degree. She wrote several scenarios for comics books published at Editions du Lombard and Glénat in France. Her title : « La nuit de la Chandeleur » got the Lion’s award from the Belgian Centre of Comic Art in 1997. Chantal also writes screenplays for television and short lengh films for Odec Kid cartoons (Bruxelles)‚ Keynews Television‚ Tele Images creations (Paris). In 2003 she collaborated to the movie : « Organik » that received the Jury’s award at the Gerardmer Fantastic Film Festival in 2005. Since 2003‚ Chantal works as editor of the « Domus » magazine. She’s married and she has 2 children.
